If a paid plan is not what you expected, ask within 14 days and it will be looked at properly. You can cancel at any time and keep what you have already paid for until the end of that month. Nobody is locked in.
Payments for Scriptless are handled by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record. In plain terms, Paddle is the seller on the receipt. That is why Paddle appears on your card statement rather than Scriptless, which surprises people, so it is worth saying plainly here.
It also means refund decisions are Paddle's to make, not ours. We can ask on your behalf and we will, but we cannot promise an outcome that is not ours to give. Anyone who tells you otherwise is guessing.
Ask within 14 days of the payment. Email hello@scriptless.co and say what went wrong, or contact Paddle directly using the details on your receipt.
Paddle reviews each request on its own merits and looks at things like how much of the plan has been used. They may refund in full, refund part of it, or decline. Asking inside the 14 days does not on its own guarantee a refund, and we would rather tell you that now than after you have paid.
Cancel whenever you like, from the billing link in your profile menu. Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not end the month you have already paid for, so your words stay available until that month runs out, and then the account drops back to the free plan.
Your account, your voice profile and your history all survive a cancellation. Nothing is deleted because you stopped paying.
Allowances are monthly and they do not roll over. A month that ends with words left is not refunded and those words do not carry into the next month, which starts again at the full number. This is the same on the free plan.
A rewrite that errors does not take words off your allowance. If you ever find that it has, email hello@scriptless.co and the words go back on. That is a bug, not a charge, and it does not need a refund request.
Nothing here removes a right you have under the consumer law where you live. Where that law gives you more than this page does, the law wins.
Anything about a payment, email hello@scriptless.co. See also the terms and the privacy policy.
Written to be read, not to hide anything. It is not legal advice, and it is worth having a solicitor look it over before Scriptless grows.
